The region has much more to offer than just sun, beach and sea! The hilly countryside around Saint-Pierre is rich in contrasts, with vineyards and garrigue (moorland). The Massif de la Clape limited to the north by the mountains of the Corbières and the west by the Pyrenees and invites you to hiking. Historic towns such as Carcassonne, Narbonne, Beziers and Perpignan, numerous Roman excavations and the famous monasteries and fortresses testify to the long and interesting history of this region. The cottage is for 5 people with 2 closed bedrooms, an open mezzanine, kitchen with breakfast bar, shower and toilet and 2 terraces. The sandy beach is about 5-10 mins walk. |

The site itself states: Saint Pierre la mer. The house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and is therefore very much for pensioners, families with children or dogs suitable. The sandy beach on the Mediterranean, it is 500 m. The shore is at most beaches, ideal for children - from very shallow. The beach is very wide, sandy and with good water quality, some with dunes. The area around Beziers has, according to a statement of the French electricity works most hours of sunshine. |

Sport and Leisure: Beautiful walks and cycling tours in the varied Bergmassiv''De la Clape'', with a magnificent sea view, are directly from our house. The rolling hills with their vineyards, interspersed the almond and fig trees, are used by many economic paths, with little traffic, the walkers are a joy. Garrigues surfaces whose rosemary, lavender and thyme bushes wonderfully fragrant, individual ruins and cypress trees make the landscape varied. A rich cultural program (eg in Carcassonne castle concerts), museums and excavations, and other leisure activities (eg visit of the African game reserve in Sigean) offer plenty of variety. Other rewarding excursion destinations in the region, the Côte Vermeille with Figueres and Cadaques in Spain. |
